Las uñas mitad y mitad (half-and-half nails), también llamadas leuconiquia o uñas de Lindsay, son esencialmente manifestaciones de insuficiencia renal crónica y uremia. Típicamente se ve bandas rojas, rosadas o marrones horizontales que ocupan 20 a 60 por ciento del total de la longitud de la parte distal de las uñas.
